Adding Logic to Quiz Results

I am new to the forums but have been working with Adobe Captivate for half a year now. I am trying to add logic to the quiz results a user receives after taking our training. I basically would like to implement some kind of logic that represents IF the user gets 100% on there quiz THEN they will be able to skip to the end of the module. If they score under 100% they will be forced to sit through the entire training course. Can anyone help me in accomplishing this task? All help is greatly appreciated beforehand. Thanks...

Are you placing the quiz at the beginning of the course module?

If so, then you just need to go to Quiz > Pass or Fail settings and set the passing grade to 100%, then set the  If Passing Grade action to jump to one of the slides at the end of the module, effectively skipping all the slides in between.

Be aware that if this would mean skipping a substantial amount of content and slides then you will find that the movie might appear to stall for a while because Captivate will need to render all of the slides between the end of the quiz and the end of the module.  A Captivate movie doesn't work quite the same way as if all the slides are just web pages.  It works more like a movie, and jumping from one slide to another is a bit like fast forwarding.

Well that makes sense and it really isn't too difficult. Thanks again for the help. You are indeed THE MAN! (My apologies if you are a woman)

Hello,

Are you familiar with advanced actions and variables? Because you'll need a conditional action that controls the navigation, based on the value of the system variable cpQuizInfoPointsscored.

I suppose the Quiz is a sequence of Question slides. If you are a newbie to variables/actions I could point you to my blog. But perhaps this is superfluous if you are already familiar with them.

I am familiar with advanced actions but I'm sure not as advanced as yourself. I've read your blog before but it didn't mention the conditional action needed to perform the specified functionality. When I do find the necessary conditional action, where should I insert it?

Yes the quiz is a series of pooled question slides. Thanks again.
