Adobe Captivate 8 Font Leading Problem? (Overall export to problem)

I am creating a responsive project in Captivate 8 to export in HTML5, and in the Captivate program the type is set correctly and leading (specifically) looks correct. However, when I export it as a responsive project, the leading of the type is not uniform. I usually encounter a smaller leading on the first two lines of type and then a larger leading on the rest of the paragraph. Here are some screen shots:

Here you can see the way that it looks while in captivate:

Here you can see the way that it looks when I export it as an HTML5 responsive project:

In addition, I am having problems with numbered lists, bullet points, and font weighting (all a similar problem: in Captivate it looks fine and then in the HTML5 exported view there are some issues with the way they are displayed.)

Also having the same issue. See first screen cap below. The left is a responsive project (obviously published to HTML5), and the right is a non-responsive project published to HTML5.

The leading on the first two lines is much smaller than the rest of the lines even though the settings are correct. I was hoping someone would have a solution, other than "it's HTML5, you can't design it, it looks fine" kind of thing. I think this is a bug that hope Adobe fixes in the next update. Indents also dont work, but here's a workaround for that: Why do indents look different while previewing in Captivate 8?

In any event, my solution was to put a hard return on the first line instead of the text. Just tricking it basically and not using the first line in any text box at all. It's not ideal, and makes for a crummy working file, but at least it looks nice in the end. Same project that was on the left on the first screen shot now moved to the right showing my captivate file with a text box that start withs a hard return…

At this point in its evolution HTML5 is still far from being perfect.  I think you may be aiming for too high a standard.

If you want to be completely satisfied with HTML5, the secret is to LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

Having said that, there are definitely still issues with display of numbered and bulleted lists, especially with Responsive projects.

But quite frankly, the differences between the screen captures you show above are minimal.  HTML5 is never going to give you the same level of control over typography as you would be accustomed to in print media, or even with SWF.  And as soon as you add in the factor of Responsive Design to the mix, it all goes downhill even further.  The mobile landscape is currently littered with devices, OSs and browsers that all behave differently.  It's slowly improving with each new version and update, but there is no secret way to have everything look just the way you want it (or might be accustomed to seeing it in print).
