Adobe Captivate 9 - Locking/Grouping to a smart object?

I have smart objects used in a Drag & Drop.

I also have .svg files (pictures) which I would like to position on top of the smart shape.

Can I make it so the smart shape can be dragged around, and the .svg picture will follow the shape around? Simply "group"ing them doesn't do the trick.

Also, if the .svg file covers the entire smart shape, will the shape be movable? Or will I not be able to click on it (drag it)? I need to be able to move the smart shape as if the .svg isn't there (or like it is the smart shape itself).

p.s. the .svg file needs to be on top of the smart shape.

Simply drag it into a captivate project's library and then from the library onto the slide.

    I understand the problem because a smart shape cannot be filled with a SVG, the only accepted images are bitmap. It is one of my feature requests for shapes in the future: either being able to use a SVG as a shape, or to fill a shape with a SVG.

    The only way to achieve what you want is to forget about the SVG for this use case and revert to a bitmap version of the image. This is not a perfect solution at all, especially if you are talking about a responsive project. Groups cannot be dragged, the drag sources have to be on top (but if you make the shape with a transparent fill and no stroke, it could be under the SVG). You could try applying a motion effect to the SVG for each possible drag action with the object action but I'm not sure this will give you the wanted result because the object action will only be executed when the drag source is releases on the drop target.

    I see. I needed .svg for the quality.

    I will try .bmp to see if it is good enough or not.

    Why don't you set the Smart Shape to use image fill and do it that way?  Then you would only have one object that shows both the image and can be dragged.

    .svg files cannot image fill.
