Adobe Captivate 9: Syncing slide narration with slide animation

I am creating an Adobe Captivate 9 project from a PowerPoint presentation. Many of the slides include animation where I typically click the play button on the toolbar to initiate. Is there a way to add my audio for the slide and simultaneous play the animation so the narration matches the animation of the bullets coming on screen. I tried to use the Record Preview feature but this simply plays the slide for the time allotted; it does not give me the option to manually play, or click through the animation.

Thank you.

I'm sorry, but Captivate is not an ideal PPT converter at all. Each PPT slide is converted to a movie, and that is why it is playing as you explain. There is no way to stop audio at the pause for a click box (which are not visible neither because of that conversion to a movie slide).

Personally I never use the conversion feature at all, but recreate from scratch in Captivate if such a functionality is needed. Captivate is an eLearning tool, PPT is a presentation tool, maybe you'd better look for a PPT-plugin if this is typically the kind of projects you want to do.

Thanks. Nope, I need to gradually convert many PPT learnings. I prefer Adobe Captivate 9 over Adobe Presenter 11. I think I will simply recreate the slides that have animation.
