Hi:

Does anyone know how to create a custom color on a text caption box? I know how to do this with text. I tried making a bmp file in Photoshop of the color I needed and saving it in the Captions folder in Captivate but it didn't work. Adobe says to make 5 files but I only made 1. Can anyone please help?

Thanks.

Dave

Also, if by "it didn't work" you mean that it didn't display in the droplist, you have to restart Captivate. Cap only gets that listing of files when it first opens.

You have to create a custom caption style using a graphics program.. Explanation can be found here:

Edit and create text captions with Adobe Captivate

You will read that to have this working, you need indeed create 5 image and 5 fcm files.

Why do you not use a shape as text container? For a shape you can edit both fill,  stroke and text color in Captivate itself, no need for another application. Since the callout arrows can be moved, or shapes can be replaced by other shapes, there is no need foe 5 static images.
