Hi friends,

I hope you could help me with one issue in Captivate. I try to work with the program, but it says " a fatal error has ocurred and the app has been closed. Adobe captivate has tried to save all the work in the correspondents files of the project as files ".cpbackups" files. Restart Adobe Captivate.

Look in the folder where you store the CP-files to check if you have a backup file (with same name as your original project). Rename the extension to cptx and try to open that file with Captivate.

Hey Lilybiri! I tried it but I didn't get a backup file, is there another way?

If you find the cache folder (you have only the date to look for, name of the folder is cryptic). Zipping that folder, and renaming the extension to cptx could give you an older backup. Be sure to turn on the backup in Preferences, it is not checked by default.
