Question

Advanced Action to Skip Through Text on One Slide

I'm trying to use two arrow buttons on one slide to where the user can read through different groups of text by clicking through using the arrow buttons. For example, after reading the first set of text, the user clicks the right arrow button and then the next set of text shows, and then they can click a left arrow button and go back and view the previous set of text. I want to have about 5 different sets of text they can view, one at a time using the arrow buttons. I can do this by stacking multiple buttons on top of each other and assigning advanced actions to each button to show/hide each specific text and button but I'm wondering if there's an easier way to where I can just use two buttons without having to stack/hide multiple buttons. Hopefully this makes sense. Let me know if you need clarification. Thanks!

Sure, you don't even need advanced actions. Why not use one shape, and have the different text in states for that shape? The command for the left arrow would be 'Go to Previous State' and for the right arrow 'Go to Next State'. Pretty simple.

Thanks I like how this works! I did not know about this functionality. But also what I need to do is have each set of text be it's own button, that when clicked shows a hidden shape with some instructions. For example I want to be able to click on the right arrow and another group of 4 buttons appear, each with their own specific action that when clicked show a previously hidden shape. Then when you click on the left arrow the previous set of buttons appear. I will have about 4 different groups of buttons in total with about 4 buttons in each group. Thanks.
