Question

Anyone experience quiz buttons disappearing in Captivate 9? The >> buttons appear in project mode but even they dissapear when I publish.

Next and back buttons previously seen are no longer visible and  the >> and << buttons now appear but only in work space not when previewing or publishing.

Any one ...  Buehler?

    Contacted Adobe via chat, after applying update without success. Rep remoted to my PC and simply reset the master slide on the quiz properties panel and the buttons returned. Unsure How or what I did to change the master slide but simply resetting the master on each quiz question resolved the issue. Hope this helps Tanyalee and Gretchen. Thanks to Lilybiri  and Rod Ward for your suggestions as well.

    Glad that worked for you but I tried it and all my buttons are still not visible in preview.

    Do you use a custom or edited theme? Did you change the quiz master slides?

    Having a similar problem with my Captivate 9 projects. Quiz navigation buttons: BACK, NEXT, SUBMIT ALL, appear in Edit mode but not in preview or when published to SCORM cloud. Thought it might be something affecting only the new projects I have created but the same problem occurs when I open older, previously working perfectly, projects.

    The projects are simple linear: content followed by quiz, projects with quiz setting set to "submit all." Navigation buttons are clearly present in Edit and disappear in preview and publish.

    When you updated to Cp 9.0.2 did you follow all instructions about resetting preferences, deleting layouts, clearing caches etc?

    If not, that could be your issue.

    Good question! This could indeed be the issue.

    Are there instructions online on how to resolve this problem?

    Check whether the settings are turning off Next and Back buttons on quiz question slides.

    The << and >> buttons are recently added to Captivate but are only designed to appear during Quiz Review mode.  Again, you need to select the right option in Quiz Settings for them to appear even then.

    Thanks Rod but the options for buttons don't even appear. I'm wondering if I'll need to reinstall.
