Audio Disables Drag Object?

Hi, everyone -

Novice Captivate user here. I have created a very simple drag and drop activity in my course (see attached slide). It worked great before I added audio/narration. After adding the audio file, nothing happens when I click on the drag object to try to move it to the drop target (to trigger the correct/incorrect feedback after clicking Submit, etc., etc.). I tried adjusting the "Pause After" timing to allow time for all of the objects to appear on the screen - thinking that might be the problem - but it didn't seem to do any good. I am sure there is something simple I am missing, but so far I haven't figured it out.  Can you help? What am I missing?

Thanks in advance!

Why do you use a template file instead of a ctpx file? Template files (cptl) do not work really well since a while.

Can you please create a cptx file? And include a screenshot of the timeline panel? D&D by default is pausing indeed after 1,5secs. Adding slide audio (do you see the timeline of the audio, then it is slide audio) to the slide will normally not affect anything.

However for D&D slides is is very important that ALL objects, drag sources and drop targets, are on the slide from the first frame.

    Hey, Lily -

I appreciate your help. That seems to have solved it! Just for my own knowledge, any idea what causes that error (if all objects are NOT on the slide from the first frame)?

    Thanks again!

It is just that the D&D will not work if all the objects are not available from the first frame. When something has to happen before the D&D I will split up the slide in two slides.
