can you apply an action to all slides in project in captivate 8?

how do you apply slide duration to all slides in project? rather than manually having to change each slide duration?

    You want same duration for all slides? Select them all in the Filmstrip (CTRL-A), open the Timing panel and changed the duration. Done.

    Once the slides are created this is not possible to do as a whole.  You have to change them individually.  You can set the Preference for slide duration in the Preferences dialog, but this will only apply to newly created slides after that.
