Captivate 2017 Drag and drop not working with delay

Im running into some strange problems with Captivate 2017. I created a new drag and drop interaction but the slide has a video playing first. So I set the sources and targets in the timing settings to appear after a few seconds (5 in my case). But after the slide loads the targets/sources are not working anymore. They are displayed but no interaction is possible as if they were still graphics. When I put the objects at the beginning of the timeline everything works fine.

If never had this problem with captivate drag and drop before. Anybody here can help me?

First requirement (since the feature appeared) for D&D objects is that they have to be present from the start of the slide. If I understand your question correctly, this is not the case. Nothing new in CP2017, has always been the case.  I don't want to confuse other users, because you seem to tell that this didn't happen in previous versions.

Workaround: split up the slide, so that the D&D objects are on the second slide. If you want to see them on the first slide as well, copy them as static objects.

You are right, I just checked my old project where I thought it was possible to not have the objects appear at start but I was wrong. Thanks!
