Captivate 8 Disappearing Text

The project functions correctly in preview, Timelines and
properties are in working order. After the project is saved and captivate is
closed, then reopen the project, text appears in filmstrip but not in the
project in the main viewing area. Hopefully I might get a response “THIS YEAR” –

Which version of Captivate 8 (exact number please)? First version had several bugs that were solved with a patch to 8.0.1.242.

Yes I am on LinkedIn , My version is 8.01.242 here’s a snap of my Timeline , at this point I am working with my IT group to re-install

I asked for the timeline of the Master slide that you are using, you already posted the screenshot of the slide timeline. Master slides have also objects stacked. If those objects are set to show always on top, they would cover the text which explains what you see.

If IT is reinstalling for you, don't forget to clear the Preferences (CleanPreferences files in subfolder 'Utils' of CP installation folder) and to delete the Layouts in the user profile before reinstalling.
