Captivate 8 security key

I am using Captivate 2017, but my client still uses Captivate 8, I have downloaded the trial, but this has now expired, I need a security key to continue using version 8, how/where can I get this. Adobe chat has been no help and Calls cost money.

    Hi Barry,

    Interesting question. If your Captivate 2017 cloud credentials won't work on older versions (I have no idea if they will) then your choices may be limited.

    1. Get your client to assign one of their licenses to you. ( I usually discuss this upfront, prior to the contract beginning)

    2. Buy a version 8 copy (I'm not sure you can do that either anymore, but that would be another solution)

    Something else you need to be aware of, if you are building a project on the trial version, they time-limited those files in version 8. It will work when published but only for 6 weeks or so.

    I'm not an Adobe employee, so for concrete answers you should call Adobe sales, (that call shouldn't cost you anything, but time)
