Captivate 8 SWF bookmarking issues in LMS

We are building SWF published courses in a Captivate 8 and have rune into a massive problem. The SCOs need to be published as SWF due to FLA animations in the projects, however, when we publish as SWF and upload to our Blackboard based LMS, the bookmarking feature does not function. When we publish as HTML5 it does function. We are required to provide the ability to resume upon re entering a previously opened SCO, but seemingly cannot make it function with SCORM 2004 in the LMS as a SWF. Please help!
