Captivate 9 Export/Import for Translation did not work anymore?

So far I have often used the function to export and import textfields or any other element with text to be translated. With CP9 whether it's a text box, a button or whatever, none of the changes in the exported .doc is adopted after the import.

I use Word 2013, and so far it always works with CP5.5 / CP7 and CP8 in this constellation.

Does anyone successfully exported, changed and imported something with CP9?

Thanks for the answer. The error was up to me. I've tried various options and features. For that I have created an empty project; some items added; exported; and after adjusting in Word reimported the .doc file.

The reason why it was not working is, that I have not saved the Captivate projekt after exporting. CP recognizes only after pressing save, that something has changed in the exported .doc file. Now that I've made the mistake again, I must confess that I stumbled across exactly the same problem already in 5.5 ..

Thanks

Hi

I just tried it now and it works - CP9, Win 8.1, Word 2013.

I had 3 text captions on a slide - export, updated doc, import, changes reflected in text captions.

Donal.

Yes thanks, see above. I have not saved my CP project after the export, that was the problem.

The great thing is, that CP exportes all states of an object too. The first usable approach to manageable multilanguage projects.

Thanks for your answer Donal.

Hi,

We could not see the issue at our end. The Export Project captions and closes captions to Word 2013 worked at our end.

Please try clearing preferences and importing it again after saving your changes to Word document you exported. In case you still facing the issue, please share the project with us at dgp at adobe dot com.

Thanks

Devraj
