Captivate Audio Issue

I can't hear the audio of my Captivate lesson when viewed on mobile devices. Also there's a distracting play button at the center of the slide. Is there a way to remove this. I used a non-responsive template and published it as both SWF and HTML.

    Hi There,

    Please try to follow the below steps in order to diagnose the issue you were facing -

    1- Update Captivate 8 to 8.0.1 either by launching Captivate and go to Help menu > Updates or can also download from the link - https://www.adobe.com/support/captivate/downloads.html

    2- After then publish HTML5 zip output from Captivate 8.0.1 (Quiz reporting enabled) and upload it to https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/guest/SignInForm

    3- If you do not have an account then click on Sign up now and create your account.

    4- Once course uploaded then launch course and test it on Desktop/Laptop and also try to access the same course on your Android mobile devices that you are using and see if it works.

    Hi There,

    Have you tried to open the given link in a different browser at your end say Chrome as it is working at my end ?

    You can also update by launching Captivate 8 and go to Help Menu > Update.

    Here are the results using different browsers:

    Chrome - No audio, closed caption, and there's a distracting play button at the center of the screen

    Firefox - no audio and closed captions do not appear

    IE - there's audio, but there's a few seconds delay

    Default browser for Android - no audio and closed captions
