Captivate browser testing - have multiple browsers available?

Greetings,

I need to test Captivate project files in multiple browsers. I seem to remember that a earlier version of Captivate (perhaps as far back as 2 or 3) allowed you to test from within the application, through multiple browsers. The multiple browsers appeared in a pop-up menu from the main File drop menu. You could select from a short list of any installed browsers, default browser or not. Is this still possible?

I work in an environment where 2 or more browsers are used. IE is the default browser, however learning content is accessed through Chrome. I want to test Captivate projects from the Captivate application. I don't want to change my default browser. How can I assign a test browser for Captivate to use?

Thank you,

TPK

Correct answer Captiv8r

Just publish, then open the folder where you published and right-click to test. You should see both browsers listed on your Open With context menu.

Thank you Rick,

It has been a long time since I last chatted with you. Glad to see you are still active in the forums.

Your suggestion worked, although because of Chrome popup blocking it is not intuitive (at least not as intuitive as it once was).

Bottom line it worked, I'm happy.

Cheers!
