Question

Click box being only way to advance slide

I am using Captivate 7.     What we are looking for is a way to have the click box be the ONLY way to advance the slide.   What we would like to try to avoid is the user just clicking the mouse or hitting the enter key to get through the presentation.

I have added my click box where I want it.  On the properties slide I have the following:

Action:  Allow mouse click checked.     Shortcut is empty.

Options:  Hand cursor checked.    Pause project until users clicks checked.

The out put is 1/2 and 1/2.   If it works the first time it will not work again  - or - it will not work at all.

What am I missing?

Thank you,

Shannon

Can you post a screenshot of the timeline, and of the Click box Properties. I don't have CP7 anymore, which is a pity.

I thought I had in the original post. Hmm...Let's try again.

Okay that did not work.  The Add Media will not open for me.  And when I  tried to copy and paste into the comment box, I see the screenshot and hit post but the screenshot is not showing in the post afterwards.

No, you cannot attach files, you have to insert them. I only see text in your original question.

OK, you are coming to the forums through the portal. I have the same problems with Add media.

Do you mind coming directly to the Jive forums. This is your thread:

In the browser you'll see a toolbar, where you can use the image icon to insert a screenshot (png, jpeg or gif):
