Hi,

I am new to working with responsive projects... Is it advisable to use click boxes in a responsive project? What I actually mean is: does it work also for smart phone sizes - are the boxes legible when you come down to these small sizes? Is there something else that would work better?

Kind regards,

Carina

The question is not whether a click box is functional in a responsive project, but whether it is supported. That depends on the workflow you are using for a responsiive project. In CP2017 you have the choice between Fluid Boxes and Breakpoint Views. When using Fluid Boxes, which are strictly twodimensional, you cannot use click boxes over another item. Which version do you use and which work flow?

I use version: 10.0.0.192 and Breakpoint Views.

In that case you can use Click boxes. However when possbile I will always replace a combination click box over an image by a shape button filled with that image. As you probably know, the toughest part of setting up a responsive project with Breakpoint views is the postioning and sizing of all objects. It is much easier with one object than with a duo of two objects.
