CP9 responsive project - where are the slide transitions?

Slide transitions are available via the timing panel when creating a blank project (non responsive).

Where are the slide transitions when using a responsive project? The timing panel is not in the properties inspector.

Surely it is still possible to add a slide transition for a responsive project? If so how?

Slide transitions are not supported for responsive projects, they are not even supported for HTML5 output. The Timing panel is available (at least in Expert UI), you can apply a transition but the HTML5 Tracker will indicate that this is not a supported feature.

That's a real shame. Surely a basic feature is it not?

I don't know the reason (probably linked to the jungle of HTML5 with its inconsistent support on browsers and devices), but for eLearning I don't consider slide transitions to be a 'basic feature', as is the case for presentations. Personally I will never use them. Effects on objects are a different beast; but of course that is my personal opinion
