Difficulty Previewing

Inexplicably my Captivate project created in captivate 9 will not preview in project or browser. It also displays a warning that there is insufficient memory on my machine to preview the project. The Project is medium and the PC has 16gb of ram and no other applications are running. I don't think its a hardware issue. Has anyone encountered this.

Did you check the Task Manager at that time to see what RAM was available?  It might not be Captivate but some other app open at the time that is chewing up all the available RAM or resources.  Captivate just happened to crash first because it was unable to get what it needed.

Yes, I checked the usage by other applications and nothing was significant? I've had this happen before and it leaves the file corrupted and unable to be opened. Its very frustrating.

Are you using the latest version 9.0.2.437? If you are on Win, do you run Captivate as administrator? Is the application installed on your system, not on a networked drive? Are the paths in Preferences, General settings both pointing to folders on your system, not on a networked drive?
