Disappearing quiz captions

Hi guys. Using cp 9, created a 4 question quiz, all multiple choice with 4 possible answers. Captions that are selected are Correct, Incomplete and of course Failure Messages 1. I keep losing the odd Correct caption here after previewing and/or publishing - does anyone have any ideas please?

    It gets worse! The first caption missing is the 'Correct - click anywhere to continue' on Q1. As Q2 works fine I simply copied Q2, copied all of the text from Q1 onto it and deleted the original Q1. Preview / Publish....exactly the same! I didn't touch any settings but still Q1 doesn't give me a success caption..... Help please?

    Next step is to delete the quiz and create  new one and see what happens there.....

    Did you perhaps delete one of the embedded quiz objects: those are the objects without an individual timeline in the master slides as well as in the question slides. This includes: title, question, answers, buttons etc. You should never delete one of them, you can uncheck when that option is available (some buttons can be unchecked, some feedback messages as well).

    Do not copy question slides. To have the same look, edit first the associated quizzing master slide, the object styles (in the object style manager).
