Do not advance slide until content is done?

How do I lock the "next slide" arrow button, so that a learner can not advance to the next slide until the content of the current slide is over/done?

You will have to create your own playbar. There are widgets around that can prevent the scrubbing of the progress bar but blocking a button is easier done with custom buttons on the course than with the default playbar. Here is one example:

Probably the easiest way is to have your own Next button rather than the built-in playbar and simply not have your button appear until all the content has been reviewed. You can do this by adjusting when that button appears on your playbar. Here is a screenshot of my timeline that illustrates this.2016-11-30 6-43-12 PM

The lower green smartshape (Being used as a next button) doesn't appear on the timeline until the narration is mostly finished.

Hello there - thank you so much for your quick response!  Lilybiri responded first with a similar response.  I wish I could mark both responses correct, but it's only allowing me to select one   So sorry & thank you again!  Beth
