Drag and drop will not run in html 5? My advance action will run but not the drop and drag on the same slide

Hi everyone,

I created a slide that has a Hint button. The user clicks the hint rollover button and a  box with text will appear. To close the box, all they have to do is click the hint button again and the box is hidden. I used advance action to create  the hint button work.

I am trying to add a simple drag and drop  action on the same slide, but that does not work. I am unable to grab the object and move it. The user has to move the object and place it over a box area that I change the alpha to 0.

The problem started when I tested the slide in HTML 5 browser.

Any suggestion?

Thank you.

    Hi  Lilybiri,

It seems HTML 5 browsers does not work well if you select the Glow or Zoom in with the drag object. I removed it and the file is running fine. No HTML 5 error window. I don't know why, but I am guessing it has to do with the SWF?? Or maybe not.

I will go on your blog and review your suggestion.

    Thank you, again.

I wouldn't be surprised, but didn't test it, that Glow is giving problems. Reason is that the Glow Effect is amongst the Other effects, which are not supported for HTML5. Zoom is a bit surprising, but will try to test it.

Can I see a screenshot of the Timeline, please? All drag&drop objects need to be on the slide from the first frame. The slide is automatically paused by the D&D at 1,5secs (pausing point isn't visible on the timeline). There could be a conflict between the toggle button pausing point and the D&D pausing point. Could you also post a screenshot of the toggle action?

I don't see any screenshot in your answer. You cannot attach images, they have to be inserted.
