Entrance animations don't play completely?

Hi guys and gals,

I'm looking at something as simple as having something slide onto the screen, and I thought it would be fairly simple, but it doesn't seem to flow through to the end of the path I've created. Starts at the right spot, but definitely doesn't end on the right spot.

The animation doesn't go for the full length of the slide, so it's not like the slide is cutting it short. Has anyone else come across this? Am I overlooking something simple?

That effect is very short, default time for a motion effect is 2secs and you reduced the time to 0.3 secs. Are you on 9.0.0.230? Did you test for SWF or HTML output? There were issues with the first version concerning motion effects. The hotfix is described here, has to be installed manually:

Please offer some more details! Which version of Captivate are you using? Is this a motion effect with a customized motion path? Do you perhaps have a pausing point in the timeline that prevents the motion effect from completing? Can you post some screenshots of the path, the timeline? Did you use a time-based effect or one of the two other work flows: triggered by an interactive object or by an advanced action?

Oh sorry.

I'm using Captivate 9. the effect I'm using is a standard Entrance effect, and it seems to be stopping on the second to last frame. I've got this effect in my project multiple times and it does it on every single one of them.

There are no pause moments. It's triggered by the start of the slide and finishes before the slide ends.

Example 1:

Example 2:

There are no pause icons on any of the items in the timeline. Plus the second animation (the marriage cert) starts after the talking head slides on.

Neither the talking head nor the marriage cert end where they're supposed to.
