Having a problem with .pdf docs in multi-SCORM package

My apologies if this is a duplicate post.

My situation is that I have a course with 5 seperate lessons; three of which have hyperlinks to .pdf files in them.  If I package and post a lesson to my LMS then the link to the .pdf (which I added to the .zip file after the fact) works fine.  However, that same lesson (as well as the other two) when I package all of the lessons together using the multi-scorm packager the hyperlink to the .pdf files no longer work.

I tried placing the .pdf in the multi-scorm .zip file....as well as placing them in the "assets" folder of each of the lesson in the larger multi-scorm package...but neither solution worked.

I know it's just a matter of putting the files in the right place, but I'm at a loss.
