How do I copy slides from one project to another, without the content being changed or moved?

I tried to copy slides from a software simulation to another project. When inserting the slides, some of the content is moved and in incorrect places.
Anybody who has tried something like that?
I have tried to change the screen size for both of the project, but it doesn't make any differences.

Both projects need to have the same resolution. Can you check that? You can find it under Project info.

I hope you are talking about normal (blank) projects for both target and source file?

Can you tell which version you are using, please (exact number).

The to projects is not the in the same resolution, but i tried to change the screen size, so they where the same, but there are still some misplacements of the content in the copied slides.
I am using captivate 9.

Please, what are the resolutions of both projects. I would rescale the project from which you want to copy to the same resolution as the target project. That way you can first see how it rescales. When you copy/paste you'll leave the rescaling to Captivate. Do both projects use the same theme, are they 'normal' projects? Which exact version number please? Latest version is 9.0.2.437.
