Question

How do i get slide audio to stop playing when another audio is playing on an object or widget

I have a slide with audio that automatically plays when the slide shows up. Within the slide is a widget that has additional audios. When the bars on the widget are clicked, the audio plays while the slide audio is still going.

Which learning interaction do you use? Big chance that it is a static interaction, which means it has no events that you could use to stop the slide audio.

Only an interactive interaction has that possibility.

SInce a static widget is not pausing the slide, you need to have a pausing point anyway. How do you pause the slide?

You can download a table with all interactions from this post:

It's on multiple slides for captivate 10 (the widget is sometimes an accordian with 4-5 bars and each has an audio). The image you provide doesnt now show up even when i go to options. The audio are inserted within each bar      Screen Shot 2017-08-17 at 12.18.19 PM

Of course not, because this is indeed a static widget, you don't have the possiblity to pause the slide, it has no events to be used to trigger actions.

How do you pause the slide, because such a static interaction has NO pausing built in.
