The animation works correctly in preview mode but when I preview the entire project it does not show my animated boxes?  Your help would greatly be appreciated?'

Thank you,

Lucretia

Suspicion confirmed. You have tons of pausing points in that timeline. The first one is at 1,5secs with the button at the top of the stack. The playhead will stop there, all items timed later will not appear. Slide audio will continue playing, because I suspect that you didn't pause it which would have needed to click in the properties panel on 'Pause slide audio'.

This is a common lack of understanding the timeline, leading to questions of this kind every week, almost daily. Based on that experience I claim 'Understanding Timeline' to be the first required skill for a Captivate developer. I have been writing a lot of articles, and also a couple of interactive movies. Here are a couple of links:

What do yoyu want to achieve? If this is sort of a menu slide, where you want to allow the user to click on several buttons, please either limit the number of pausing points to 1, which is timed later than the last entry of an item (and later than the finished effect), or have all button pausing points at the same moment, later than the end of the last effect.

If you mean that it works with Play slide, you have to know that this is NOT a preview method, is only meant for editing and synchronizing.

Preview project will show approximately how it looks when published. I suspect that you have an interactive object pausing the slide. Can you please ins ert a screenshot of the Timeline?
