Question

How to stop slide from progressing to next slide, but not pause flash animation on current slide.

Greetings,

I am importing interactive SWFs into a Captivate 7 slide presentation.  Each SWF has the option for the user to interact with elements throughout the length of the animation.  However, in order to prevent the next slide from appearing, I needed to place a BUTTON that pauses the slide and awaits for the user to click on it to progress.  Unfortunately, this allows pauses the SWF.  Interactivity is no longer operational as when you pause the slide, it pauses the SWF too.

In testing, I created a project with one slide.  At the end of project the SWF remained interactive.  Is there a way to simulate this status to that I can prevent the autoplay to the next slide, but not have it freeze (PAUSE) the slide?

Thanks for any help.

Use a click box that you extend till the end of the slide, using CTRL-E. Default pause for a click box will be at its last frame, which is also the last frame of the slide. I hope those interactive SWF's are

not published CP-files! That could cause lot of issues.

Lilybiri,

I attempted your suggestion and it did not fix the problem.  Any slide PAUSE disables the interactivity with the SWF as it also pauses the SWF.  Is there any way to prevent the automatic jumping to next slide without pausing the slides?

Disregard,

I failed to click on Synchronize with Project option under Timing.  That solved the issue.

Thanks for help.
