I cannot see mp4 video, only audio, PLEASE HELP?

Hello,

I have been working in Captivate 9 with several files which all published to mp4 correctly - showing slides in video and audio.

Now I cannot see the video when it publishes, only the audio file. PLEASE HELP?

Are you saying that the file in the folder is only a MP3? Or do you "see" an MP4 file but when you play it you don't actually see anything. What player are you using to view the video?

Hi Rick,

The file publishes to an mp4 and to your point, I have been opening it in Windows Media Player (which the previous videos worked in). I have just tried opening it in QuickTime and it works so thank you for that. However, I have to resize the QuickTime video before I can see the controls to play it.

I am going to try and see if these videos play when published to my LMS even though I cannot see them in Windows Media Player.

If you have any more thoughts or advice it would be very welcome.
