I notice a couple of bugs in the software, do you have a Service pack release for Captivate 2017?

This is a user forum, not Adobe support.

AFAIK no dot release yet for 2017. There are a coupkle of hotfixes, but none applies to your issues.

    • Timeline; I suspect you mean the timescale in the Timeline panel? I never had it myself, so I suspect it it linked with a refresmanet issue, fue to hardware. Not sure.
    • Are you talking about a video demo? I don't undertsatned the problem, can you explain more?
    • Is this SWF or HTML output? How did yoy test? For HTML output you need to upload the published folder to a webserver for testing.

    • Yes, I mean the timeline scale in the Timeline panel
    • Yes, a video demo. here are the steps:
      • Edit the video demo
      • Split the video ( now it becomes two -video 1 and video2)
      • Try to move the Video 2
      • You will notice that Video 2 is somewhere in the timescale where it is so way off
    • HTML output. I viewed the video after publishing it. That's how I know.
    • Another bug, when you insert an image on the slide, and tries to position it, Captivate grabs the entire image on the slide not just the particular one you inserted.

Splitting the video demo is not meant to move video clips, they can never overlap. You can use transitions between the clips, you can create gaps between the clips and insert static images to fill the gap. What did you try ?

You cannot view the full functionalikty of a HTML output locally, it has to be uploaded to a webserver or a LMS if you talk about a SCO. Especially motion effects are very trciky watching locally. Here is an example with a lot of motion effects:

I do not understand the last bug at all, please insert some screenshots.
