In a software simulation, how do I stop the auto text entry in the "fill in the blanks" field?

Using Captivate 9 trial.

Created a software demo, clicks and such work fine (with some editing), but the points where the user should enter text or other numbers, the capture does it automatically. How can I make it wait for the user to enter the text and to evaluate that text as correct?

Realize it's a noob question, but I am one..

    You choose the wrong 'mode' for this software simulation. You should have chosen 'Training simulation' instead of 'Demonstration'. The Demonstration mode is meant to create a 'show-only' movie. In the Training Simulation mode the user will have to click on the right spots, to enter text.
