    I use this app to accomplish this on windows, and it works great: Reflector 2 | Wireless mirroring & streaming for Android, iOS & Chromebooks

    With Captivate you can only capture on an iPad/iPhone with a Mac, not with a PC. You will have to look for an external application like Reflector.
