I clicking on a closed caption button an event that can be used to control something else?

I have audio objects with attached audio, controlled by advanced actions, and I need to fake a CC script.

I sure wish I could attach CC to any audio file!

No, you'll need a programmer. Making custom buttons (using shape buttons, that can be put on the master slide or timed for the rest of the project) is not that tough anymore. Sorry, cannot help you in that case. All events, available to trigger actions in Captivate, are listed up in a table to be found here:

Events and (advanced) Actions - Captivate blog

As for custom buttons:

1 action = 5 Toggle Buttons - Captivate blog

I am using the standard playback control except in this section, I need a custom one. But if the standard control is not recognized by the system as an event, then clicking the standard control is not going to help. Make sense?

If I need a custom button, I'm going to have to re-program all the slides outside of this one section for a custom playback control bar. No TIME for that!
