Is it possible to add a Next and Back button on a question master slide?

Up till now i have been adding the Next and Back buttons to my quiz slides and moving Submit and Reset slide by slide. is it possible to set up these buttons on a master slide?

Hi there,

You can add the placeholder buttons back in the quiz master slide through 'Quiz>Question Placeholder Object>Back Button' menu option.

    I like Nimmy's answer the best because it's the simplest. I was able to add these placeholders to the quiz master slide of the file where i'm developing my skin/theme, but when I created a new file and applied the theme, the new buttons didn't show up on the quiz slide. It appears that I will not apply my theme to a new file but will open my original development file and use Save As. Then everything works the way I want it to. Thanks for all the suggestions.

    Did you save the theme again as a custom theme? Maybe you forgot that step. We all told you the same thing but not totally in the same phrasing.

    A theme consists of object styles, master slides and skin. If you change something you have to save the changed theme with the same or another name.

    What do you mean exactly? You can move buttons on the quiz master slides, before adding the question slides, yes. Do never move the Submit button off the slide, it is the most essential one. More info:

    The Submit and Reset buttons are just fine on my quiz master slides, but these slides don't have a Next and Back button. How do I add them to the quiz master slides? When I go to the Quiz tab where I normally add these buttons to filmstrip slides, the tab is blank in Master Slide view. Does this mean I have to add Next/Back individually to my quiz slides (or to a generic filmstrip slide that I duplicate)?

    Would it work to just create two regular buttons and set them as Next and Back on the quiz master slides?
