Question

Is it possible to have a captivate project close and restart itself.

I have developed a project as a prototype.  Right now, we will be showing the project at a conference on a standalone machine with no internet access.  Since the user will be able to get up and leave at will, I need to include a button so that a new user can relaunch the project from the beginning. I am very new to Captivate and have been able to get this to work.  Any help would be appreciated.

If you click Edit > Preferences > Project > Start and End, you should see an option allowing you to "loop" the project.

And if you want the viewer to be able to restart at will, just configure a button that jumps to slide 1 as its action.

    Cheers... Rick

Thank you for your response.  I tried the "Loop" option as suggested.  it does restart the project, however it does not reset the project and the test.  I have both a pretest and post study test section.  Is there a way to reset these before the program starts again?
