Locking up When Publising

It seems I am having the same problem.  I was successful in creating a few videos with Captivate 9 but I just put together a 1000 slide project and when I try and publish it, the program completes the "Generating Slides" but then will only get to 55% when it moves to the video part, it just freezes.  Any ideas?  I have tried reducing the quality but to no avail.  In addition, I thought I could just pull the program into Premier Pro and render it there.... but it seems that this is not possible either?

    1000 slides and you're puzzled about it not responding when it tries to generate an MP4?

    Have you considered breaking this project in to several smaller modules and generating them?
