Presenter problem with webcam and photo

Trying out Presenter. My Mac does not recognize my Logitech BCC 950 - actually, it did once but now it only recognizes the audio. Also, when I draw those lines initially for my face and shoulders, I keep getting an error message. If I ignore it, then the video has black spikes dancing around my head and body - HELP!
