Hi there,

My company is currently trying to publish a responsive course for ipads and iphone 6. I understand the dimensions to be 1024x768 for ipad, and 375x667 for the iphone. We have tried publishing the course with those dimensions set for the breakpoints, but when we open the course, there a lot of scroll you have to do to view the whole course for both devices. We have tried the recommended captivate dimensions as well, and there was a lot of blank space for some reason. I know we need to account for the space that browser takes up, but it shouldn't be as far off as it is. What dimensions should we set our breakpoints to so that all of the course content is on the screen without having to scroll? We are testing on a 2nd gen ipad, and an iphone 6.

The dimensions you are looking for are the viewport size and not the full screen size. An iPad in landscape view is 1024 x 672 and in portrait mode is 768 x 928. The reason for this is the browser toolbars and controls take up some of the space. I don't have an iPhone to check but if you do, simply open a browser and visit http://howbigismybrowser.com and it should give you the exact deminsions you need.
