Publish FLV with Captivate 7

Hello everyone,

Due to network constraints we are not authorized to publish mp4 videos, and when we publish in PDF the files are quite large and become resource hogs. In previous editions of Captivate we could publish to an FLV, but in Captivate 7 we can't seem to find any information on whether this feature was dropped or not. Thanks for any information.

Reason is probably that FLV is sort of EOL but did you try to convert the MP4 to a FLV? You are aware that you lose all interactivity, because both formats are pure video?

Thank you for replying. We haven't tried to convert the video...we were hoping Captivate 7 had the capability (as Captivate 5) to publish an FLV. We will have a look for a video converter and check out the results.

You should have an older version of the Media Encoder with Captivate, did you try it? More recent versions do not support FLV anymore.
