Publishing Captive 9 - Responsive Project

My only options to publish are devices, devices (app), adobe connect and adobe prime. I don't have the option to publish to my computer. I published to a file on my desktop, zipped, but when I open the zip file there isn't anything I can play. (I have folders titled: ar, assets, callees, dr, vr, project.text, goodbye.html, & index.html which is blank.) How do I publish a file that I can send to friends to view who don't have captivate on their computers?

That means that you have chrome as default browser. If you don't unzip that folder, the index file cannot find the appropriate files to launch your course.

Normally unzipping can be done with features built in your OS.  In Windows use 'Extract All' from the right-click menu on the zipped file.

You are creating a responsive project, I can detect that from your publishing options. Create Publish for devices.

The file to launch is the index.html file which is small but not empty. However, you have to unzip the folder. All the subfolders have asses and other necessary files in them.

The best way to view the result correctly is to upload the folder to a webserver or to a LMS (if you created a SCORM package). Send the url to your friends.

the index.html is a google chrome document so when I right click on it the only options I have are open, cut, copy, and delete. When I open it, it just opens a webpage in chrome but it's blank. How do I unzip?
