I would like to buy Adobe Captivate 9 license how many days it takes to activate it after the purchase? Is it immediately?

The only time I have experienced a delay was back when I was in school I needed to wait for them to verify that I was in fact a student in order to get the educational discount. Other than that, I have purchased the last several versions through the Adobe.com website using credit card and paypal and I was given my serial number immediately upon confirmation that the payment went through (minutes).
