Question about adding sound to an object (adobe capitvate)

Hi I am trying out adobe captive on the free trial version I would to ask people with more experience how to make a simulation where I add sound to imported images and make the sound come out when the picture is clicked with a mouse.

any help is greatly apprecated

    There are some possibilities, but you need to have an interactive object. That is an object that can be clicked to perform a task.

    I would fill a shape with the image, and turn the shape into a shape button, which is such an interactive object. More infor:

    Another possibilitiy: put a click box over the image, a click box is invisible but is also an interactive object.

    In the Properties panel of any interactive object you'll see a tab "Actions". Under that tab you have a field 'On Success '. Open the dropdown list for that field and choose 'Play Audio'. You 'll have to point to the audio clip you want to use. If you want to use multiple audio clips, I recommend to import them first into the Library. The Library items show up immediately in the dialog box for 'Play Audio'. Be sure to uncheck the option 'Continue Movie at the end of audio' if you don't want to release the playhead.
