Question Pools - slow to work with?

Hi there, I would like to have opinions on the Question Pools.

I have been using them for some time and it all seems so slow... Currently, I have two projects that are quite simple - just a title page with one title, 10 Random question slides and a Question pool with 25 questions. The questions have been imported from a GIFT file.

Every time I try to make a change in the text or move around the text boxes I need to wait quite a bit.

I have the files on my local drive. It is true that when the cache I cleared it becomes a bit faster, but still it is slow.
