Quiz/assessment suddenly not displaying

I have a SCORM 1.2 course that has stopped loading the assessment when the course has been uploaded to the LMS.

Learners click next to go to the first question but it just displays a blank page - no title, text, or buttons. It was originally a fill in the blank activity but I rebuilt them as MCQs in case that was setting it off, but even they don't display. They previously have displayed with no issues but recently they stopped working with no amendments made to the course. The settings for the quiz and the course are exactly the same as a number of other courses on the LMS which work fine

I use Captivate 8, and the preview displays it without a problem. Also, our users use IE11 but I can see the quiz slides in IE whilst other people I asked to test it couldn't.

Any insight into what might be causing this would be greatly appreciated

The problem was with the Totara LMS thinking that they were in an old attempt. We had had some issues with occasional users not marking as complete correctly which seemed to be solved by setting the LMS to force a new attempt, and in the course advanced settings to "Send data on every slide" and "Never send resume data". However a couple of people had already looked at the course before the settings were changed and the LMS thought they were still in the same attempt. If you clear their attempt from the LMS then it all works correctly.

After trying everything I could think of one thing that helped for one person was simply clearing my cache in IE and deleting that and all their temporary files. It didn't work for the other people who were struggling to see it.
