quiz results and playbar buttons

Hi,

I have to following problem:

I created a project with several instructional slides and two video’s that end with 5 mc-question slides and a result page. Every mc-slide is 20 points and there is an 50% pass/fail threshold. The whole project is uploaded en reports to a LMS. If a student passes the test then the project stops (result slide is the last slide) and he/she exits the module. The passing score gets reported correctly within the LMS. So far so good. I have opted the following settings:

- not show the playbar during the quiz (but it does show at the result page somehow?)

- Infinite attempts when failing grade

- No review

So far so good, but…

When the student restarts the module it is brought back to the results page as expected. But the playbar is showed so the student is able to press the backward button. When he/she does then the quiz goes to te last mc-slide. If the student provides a right answer then the score is recalculated in an overall score of 20% and fails the test where it used to be >=60% and thus passed. The new failing score is also reported back to the LMS. Something similar happens when the student pushes the rewind button, then the whole quiz is cleared.

I have tried several settings and options, but to no avail. What I would like to accomplish is:

• The student can take the test as many times as needed to achieve a pass score.
• If passed the student must be able to show the quiz questions but without retaking the test or clearing the result. (doesn’t have to be review)
• If the student want to see the video again then he/she can push the rewind button, but without clearing the result or retaking the test.

Maybe someone on this forum can provide me with some insight or tips. Thank you for your effort!
