Smart shape buttons not working under Captivate 9 HTML5 Closed Captions

Hi everyone,

I've noticed that my smart shape buttons do not work in Captivate 9's HTML5 output when the Closed Captioning is toggled on.  Toggling the CC off allows the buttons to function.  In the image here, the buttons on the bottom right are underneath the CC layer (it's set as translucent; the visible bar there is actually a separate image and should have no effect on the functionality).

Anyone else noticing that smart shape buttons underneath the Closed Captioning layer are not working in HTML5 output?

    Do not use custom buttons in the part that will be used by CC. Use the Guides feature to define that part and avoid putting objects, certainly interactive objects in that part. see this post 'Guides Rule'.

    When you cover an interactive object with a static object, it will remain active for SWF output, but rarely for HTML output. Not only for shape buttons.
