Some quiz slides not showing

Hi,

I'm using Captivate 9 (Windows 64 bit version) and have a project with a quiz at the end.  There are 10 questions to the quiz, and only MCQ, T/F and Sequence questions are used (only one of the later).

When previewing (either in a browser), previewing project, next five or from this slide - the first question slide doesn't display correctly.  I've tried this in IE 11 and Chrome (for the browser preview) and afterwards also published and had the same issue. The slide and the master quiz slide background all display, but the question and answers don't show up.  The slide still pauses as if they're there.

I've tried duplicating the slide and that didn't have any effect.  There were fade in transitions so I moved the pause point earlier and also later and still no difference so I removed the fade transition on the slides also, again to no avail.

5 of the questions after that work, but the last four also have the same problem.

If anyone has come across this, or has any other suggestions to try that would be a great help.

Correct answer RodWard

Check the slide properties to see if you have set the option Master Slide Objects On Top.  If so, turn it off then republish.

Rod, for quiz master slides that doesn't matter: the embedded answer, question and other objects are always on top, even if you check the option Master Slide Objects On Top? Could you please explain how this could solve the issue?
@andy   Can you post a screenshot of such a problematic slide? Did you keep the original styles for all the objects or did you override them?

Lieve, I beg to differ.  Try it yourself.

Create a new project, set the Theme to White and add a few quiz slides.

Now select any of those quiz slides, and in Properties tab set Master Slide Objects On Top.

When you publish, this is what you will see:

Could YOU please explain how this would NOT be an issue?
