Question

Specify default size/position of Drag & Drop buttons/captions

Hi everyone,

With the Drag and Drop interaction, is there a way to specify a default size and position (in pixels) of the Submit and Reset buttons, as well as the success/failure captions? Customizing the style (from the Object Style Manager) is easy enough, but I'd rather like it if the items default to specific positions each time my content authors enable them. Perhaps it's buried somewhere in the theme settings?

Thanks in advance!

Interesting question. There is no master slide for D&D, which is the first place to look for. I wonder if the only solution would be to create a template and add a D&D slide with eventually placeholders to that template?

Hi Lilibiri! A DnD template would be superbly useful, just to make the workflow more efficient in my case.

What I've ended up doing is creating a faux template, with placeholder Submit and Reset buttons sitting the the correct places. The authors then can place the real buttons on top of these and visually resize them to fit (rather than inputting the numerical size/position) before deleting the placeholders. Seems to work okay.

For the Success and Failure captions, I've simply tried to make the sizes a round, memorable figure (600 x 300) and have them both aligned to the center-middle of the slide (they pop up on top of everything).
